It’s the first Monday of Spring y’all! A great day to set yourself up for an awesome week!78080-Welcome-Spring

Silence the Chaos in your life, so you may be able to hear the words that are being spoken to you, to bring about creative ideas, direction and even warnings.

The definition of Chaos is complete disorder and confusion.  A life of chaos can be filled with negative people, negative thoughts, a disorderly home, a pinging phone, unfinished projects and more. When chaos is active in your life then there’s room to feel anxious and on edge, you may always find yourself late and behind the 8 ball.  Chaos will keep you tangled up with no sense of completion.

When your life is in order, then there’s peace of mind.  You’re able to hear the words that are being spoken to you to help you live the life that you were born to live.  None of us just know the way, we receive divine guidance to help lead us down the right path to where we need to be.

Sometimes we get sidetracked but divine guidance always bring us back to the right path, where we’re supposed to be.

To silence chaos, we need to evaluate what’s causing the chaos and eliminate it. If it’s negative people then stop hanging around them. Negative thoughts, then beat them with positive thoughts. Negative Example: I can’t do anything. Positive example: I can do anything that I put my mind to. I am great. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

If it’s a disorderly home, you can never find your keys, a sink filled with dirty dishes and chair full of laundry that needs to be folded. Then clean up your home, it may take a few weekends to get it in order but you can do it, the chaos didn’t happen overnight and it may not be silenced overnight.  Then set rules, place your keys in the same location every day, wash the dishes as they are used, don’t do laundry unless you’re able to complete the entire task.

A pinging phone will pull your mind in all kind of directions and keep you on edge constantly.  Turn off the notifications on your cell phone and take control of viewing social media updates when you’re ready.

For me, living in chaos made it hard to accomplish anything. Every time I would sit down to type a blog post or a video script, I would look around and get sidetracked because there was always laundry that needed to be folded, dishes that need to be washed or clothes to hang in the closet. Always something else to do instead of sitting and listening to the words that were being spoken to me.

When I heard the words “Silence the Chaos”, my entire world changed.  I decided to make some household changes because that’s where my main chaos was.  I spent a couple of weekends getting my house in order and putting in place methods to help the house stay in order.

  1. I cleaned, I mean cleaned my kitchen and put away all the dishes. I made a rule that all dishes would be cleaned when they are used not once they are all stacked up.
  2. I folded and put away all the laundry. I decided to only do laundry if I’m able to complete the task of washing, folding and putting away the laundry.
  3. I did some de-cluttering; I tossed old medicines and hair care products and bagged old clothes and shoes for charity.

I made these changes in my life to silence my chaos so that I may be able to hear the words that will lead me to do what I am placed on this earth to do.

I pray you all have an awesome week! Happy Monday
